Purple Day® Seizure First Aid Training
On March 26th, 2017, the VFW Post 6280, American Legion Post 99, Sky Granny, and the Salem Lutheran Church congregation participated in a community service project for the international Purple Day®. To honor those with epilepsy everywhere, they conducted a Purple Day® Seizure First Aid training event at Salem Lutheran Church in Missouri. This event was a huge success with an audience of 51 people, and it helped educate people about the importance of seizure first aid training as it can happen to anyone, anywhere, and at anytime.
